Bespoke
I absolutely love working on bespoke pieces. It feels like a true collaboration. I often find something totally new manifests itself from a bespoke commission. Something that wouldn’t have become, without you being involved.
Depending on how much of an idea you already have, you will start by filling in what you can of the form below. Once I have these details, I will respond with the best place for us to start. It may be a selection of Gemstones, or perhaps examples of my own work, that we can begin to build your idea from.
The process is fairly fluid, and it can take longer than you would think, so keep this in mind as we begin our journey.
Please provide as much information as you can at this stage. For example:
Is it for a Ring? Earrings, a Necklace?
What metal would you like it made in? Sterling silver, 9ct, 18ct, yellow, red or white gold?
With stones? Which stones?
Do you have a deadline? Is this for a Wedding? A birthday?
Do you have a budget?
Don’t worry if you cannot answer all of these questions, its just a helpful place to start, so I can prepare as much info for you in our first chat/email. We will cover everything I need to know to be able to give you an estimate, and I will provide you with different design details, that are in keeping with my aesthetic if you don’t have a clear idea to begin with.
If you would like a variation of something you have seen of mine, perhaps using different stones, different metal or just a different size, please, if possible, share a screen grab of the piece. I’m also happy to have a video call with you if you’d prefer, or potentially in person (remember I’m based in Hastings, but travel to London fairly often).
Payment
A non refundable fee of 50% of the total amount is required, once we have agreed on the design and price of a bespoke, custom made piece. It is not possible to cancel your order at this point. The balance will be due once the item is ready to dispatch.
Turnaround times
The turnaround for each bespoke piece of jewellery varies considerably, so I will treat each order individually, and give you an estimate as early as I can during the initial stages.
Bear in mind, made to order pieces have a turnaround time of up to 6 weeks, so it would be safe to expect longer than that for bespoke, particularly during busier times like in the run up to xmas. Please keep this in mind when deciding to contact me, and allow plenty of time for the process to feel relaxed and uncompromising by time constraints.
