SHARLALA JEWELLERY

Sharlala Jewellery was founded in 2015, by NZ born, East London resident, Sharla Donovan.

An independent designer/maker, dedicated to craftmanship, with a serious love of tools.

Inspired by natural forms, reminiscent of renaissance jewellery, with a focus on wearer comfort, combining traditional and non traditional techniques to create unique, one of a kind pieces.

Her signature ‘Wobbly style’ pieces are everyday luxuries. Designed to be worn with ease, to be worn together, and to be built upon.

TEACHING / CLASSES

In June 2022, after 20 years in London, 10 of which Teaching Silver & Gold Jewellery making at schools in Shoreditch and in Hatton Garden, Sharla relocated to the East Sussex coastal town of Hastings, and set up a small work space, this time working with wax, teaching beginner ringcarving workshops.
